Pottery Class

For Christmas last year my friend Paaaam otherwise known as Pam gave me and our otherfriend Pam gift certificates for a pottery class/lesson with Captain Mudslinger at Mudslinger Pottery. On April 1 we finally got around to taking our class. It was quite fun. You bring your own snacks and beverages, thanks Pam V., which you set up on a table in the shop. As you munch the Captain tells you what to expect from the class; he shows you the kiln and explains how it works. Once you’ve gotten your fill you move into the studio where the Captain gives a demonstration and from there you become a pottery genius. Well that’s not entirely true but with much help from the Captain you can make some really beautiful bowls.
