Good Monday morning to you all; wait is it still morning if it’s after noon? Oh well I’m taking a lazy start to a very busy week so am just finishing up my morning coffee and breakfast. I didn’t get much chance to sew this weekend as I was designing two new quilts and the math of them always takes me a while to figure out. It’s not that it’s that complicated as it is that all the measurements have to be triple checked and samples have to be made which then leads to measurement adjustments – oh well I have two new quilts designed, the fabric purchased, and I even have one cut out!
Plus I got to spend Saturday with my favorite person in the whole world – my lovely Grand-daughter. This is a picture of her in one of the many sweaters I have knit for her – this is one of my own designs too.
I am also including a couple of shots of Andie whom you read about last week. Which by the way I am still waiting for someone to guess why her name is Andie. Anyhow these are photos of deciding which blocks to put where and photos of the finished quilt top.
I am also adding some shots of ELj’s studio bed. It is an old 1950’s suitcase made into a dog bed. You can see that he has room for his toys, his harness, and even his Harry Potter wand. Till next time craft on!
