Two weeks ago my computer quit charging so I took it to MacXperts in Hudson WI $395.67 later I have a new hard-drive, more memory, and a new charging cord. Not my idea of a fun way to spend that kind of money but what can you do? Anyhow since I last posted I received some unhappy news I will not be in the Spring Fresh Art Tour. Organizers of the event wanted more than one artist at my spot and the other artists who were thinking about showing there backed out so I will not be on the tour till fall. As a result I have been working on finishing the set up of my studio I have most things unpacked and put away but I need to finish some projects to make more room.
As I was going through somethings I found a project that I purchased several years ago at Shepherds Harvest and decided to give it a go. It was a rug hooking project from Angelgirl rug hooking studio. I have never done a rug hooking project like this before and always thought I would take a class but this was a fairly straight forward and easy project so I went ahead. I have a homemade rug hooking frame that I purchased a while back at a shop in River Falls that I used.
I am mostly pleased with how it turned out. It is slightly misshapen but still looks okay. Have you ever done a rug hooking project? If so how did your project turn out?
I am also including a few photos of Jake and Desmond they definitely have put on their winter weight I am guessing that they must be at 12olbs right now. Also a few other outdoor photos for your enjoyment. Till next time craft on!
