Writing 101 day 5

Okay apparently Blogging 101 is really writing 101 anyhow day 5 assignment:

The random letter:

Caught on the edge of a stone I noticed the tattered letter. It began,  “Please forgive me”  it was short but by the end I was shattered. Forgive her for what? I must know. Just how old was this letter? She mentioned that she had never forgotten him, that hurting him was her greatest regret.

Could this be the greatest adventure of my life? Should I go? No it was too impulsive. But I must. Ticket purchased, things thrown in a bag, waiting to board, surely this is crazy.

Standing outside the door, finger hovering above the bell, surely this was crazy. The door slowly opened, ” I found this in the park” I said handing him the letter.  Reading it quickly he began to cry, “thank you, thank you”, he said as he embraced me and I knew I had done the right thing.

Till next time craft on!

This is short and simple and it has a nice positive ending which shows that the effort that one makes can really make a difference to someone. Very inspiring 🙂
